Anonymous Is A Woman are a company we have admired and enjoyed the work of for a while now. Their ethos is very similar to ours and the work they do is insightful and important, from their website they say…

“Our job is to tell stories about women that otherwise may not be heard. We are dedicated to producing theatre that reflects herstory (as opposed to history) from the past and the present. We believe in women, from the unsung heroes of our national and international past to the high profile trailblazers of today”

So you can imagine we are thrilled to be performing US RED LIPSTICK GIRLS by Gigi Rice as part of their 50:50 Gender Balance Festival at the Pleasance! To find out more about Anonymous and the adventures they are on check out their website here.

Date: 06/08/16
Time: 7pm
Location: Pleasance Theatre

“They say actions speak louder than words so all of us women are screaming, but I don’t hear a sound”

In a world where girls are taught to be ashamed, Us Red Lipstick Girls is a refreshing glimpse into the art of female pretence. Gigi Rice’s piece takes the audience (be it man or woman) on an incredible journey through the female mind in just 10 minutes.
